Joining

Is this a dating app?

No. Get2gether is for friendships and social plans, not dating. You join events, connect with members and chat, so you find people to do things with, like a game of tennis or a dinner.

What kind of people are inside?

Curious, sociable adults who want to do more together, like founders, creatives and professionals. Everyone is 18 or over, and our team reviews every application.

How do I join Get2gether?

You can apply in two ways:

• In the app: download Get2gether on iPhone or Android, create an account and add your details.
• On our website: tap Apply for Membership. Once approved, sign in to the app with the same email.

Once you are approved, choose a membership and start joining events.

How long does approval take?

Our team reviews every application by hand. We usually reply within 2 weeks. We will notify you via email, WhatsApp and in-app notification when you are approved.

Can I refer a friend?

Yes, once you are approved. Tap the gift icon at the top of the app, then Copy Link or Share Link. Your friend gets priority when we review their application, and you get 1 free month when they subscribe.

How do referral rewards work?

Your friend adds your code or opens your link when they apply. You can invite 10 friends every 6 months. To claim your free month, you need a paid membership.

Membership and price

How much does membership cost?

There are three plans: Member, Premium and VIP.

• London: £18.99, £21.99 and £39.99 a month.
• Singapore: about S$25.37, S$37.22 and S$67.69 a month.

These prices are a guide only. The price you see in the App Store or Google Play may be different because of local taxes and store pricing.

What is the difference between Member, Premium and VIP?

Every plan lets you join events, meet members and chat.

• Member: everything you need to get started.
• Premium: host more plans and connect with more people.
• VIP: no limits, plus VIP-only events.

Do I need VIP to join events?

No. Any plan lets you join events and activities. You only need VIP for VIP-only events and for no limits.

Is there a free trial?

No, there is no free trial. Once you are approved, you can look around the app, but you need a membership to join events.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, there is no contract. In the app, go to Profile, tap the settings icon, then Manage Subscription. Or cancel on your phone:

• iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Get2gether, Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Play Store, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Get2gether, Cancel subscription.

You keep your membership until the end date.

Can I pause my membership?

No. You can cancel and keep your membership until the end date, then join again whenever you like.

I paid, but the app still asks me to activate. What do I do?

Tap Restore Purchases on the membership screen. Make sure you use the same Get2gether account and the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with. Still stuck? Message us in the Get2gether Support chat or email info@get2gethernow.com.

Cities

Which cities is Get2gether in?

London and Singapore, with more cities coming soon.

Why are Singapore event prices shown in pounds?

Right now the app shows a £ sign on every event price, in every city. If an event price is shown in pounds, message the host to confirm the price in your local currency.

Can I join events in another city, or while I am travelling?

Yes. Membership gives you global access to all the events listed on the app.

I moved to a new city. How do I change my city?

You don't need to. Your area updates from your phone's location, and you can see events in every city.

Does my membership work in both London and Singapore?

Yes. Your membership is on your account, so it works in every city.

My city is not listed. Can I still apply?

Yes. Choose Other and type your city. Our team reviews every application.

When is Get2gether coming to my city?

We don't have dates to share yet. We are live in London and Singapore, and more cities are coming.

Do I see members from other cities?

Yes. Members shows people from every city.

Events

Can I bring a plus one?

Each person joins an event with their own account, so your friend can apply to Get2gether too. For more details, message the host to confirm.

Who runs the events?

Events come from Get2gether, from members, and from partner businesses. You can see who runs an event under HOST on the event page.

How do I know if I am going?

• Join: you are in right away.
• Request to Join: the host decides, and you get a notification when they accept you.

Once you are in, the event shows as Going in My Plans.

How do I pay for an event?

You do not pay in the app. If an event has a cost, you see it as the Entry Price on the event page. The host tells you how to pay, in the event description or group chat.

Why can't I see or join some events?

Some events are only for certain ages or genders, some are VIP-only, and some need host approval.

The event is full. Is there a waitlist?

There is no waitlist in the app. The host decides, so contact the host for more information for specific details of each event.

Can I get a refund if I can't go?

The host manages refunds, so contact the host for the refund rules of that event. If you can't go, open the event and tap "I am no longer interested" so your spot goes to someone else and contact the host for refund details.

Hosting

How do I host my own event?

Tap Host an Event on the Gallery tab, add the details and tap Post Event. You can choose who gets in with Approve Attendees, and set a limit with Limit Attendees. We create a group chat for your event. You need a membership to host.

The app won't find my address. How do I host at home?

Pick your street or a nearby place, and turn on Approve Attendees. Then share the exact address in the Event Group Chat, which only you and your accepted guests can see. Don't put your address in the description, because every member can read it.

How can my guests pay me?

Add a Price so guests see the cost before they join. Then share your payment link in the Event Link or the Event Group Chat. For small dinners, most hosts just split the bill.

Account and app

What can I do on Get2gether?

• Join events and hangouts in The Gallery.
• Host an Event, or Post a Hangout for quick plans.
• Find like-minded people to connect with.

How do I change my date of birth?

You can't change it in the app. Message us in the Get2gether Support chat with the correct date, and we will update it for you.

Why does my profile show the wrong area?

Your area comes from your phone's location and updates each time you open the app. If you are travelling, it changes back when you are home. If it is still wrong, message us in the Get2gether Support chat.

How do I contact the Get2gether team?

• Chat: open Messages and tap Get2gether Support.
• Report a bug: Profile, settings, then Report an issue.
• Email: info@get2gethernow.com. Use this if you are waiting for approval or can't sign in.

Safety

How do I know the people are real?

Everyone applies first, and our team reviews every application. Each person must be 18 or over and share their photos, job and Instagram or LinkedIn.

How do I report or block someone?

Tap the ••• menu on their profile, or their photo in a chat, then Report or Block. On an event or activity, use the menu at the top. Our team reviews every report. If something happened outside Get2gether, email info@get2gethernow.com.
